The 2023 NFL season nears its halfway point in Week 8.
The Buffalo Bills (4-3) open the week by hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3) in Thursday night action with both teams coming off painful division losses.
Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles (6-1) asserted their dominance in primetime over the high-powered Miami Dolphins (5-2) and now face NFC East opponent the Washington Commanders (3-4). The Eagles are favored to sweep the series even though they are on the road.
The Kansas City Chiefs (6-1) also play in a division matchup riding a six-game win streak, facing the Denver Broncos (2-5) for the second time in three weeks. Travis Kelce and company are also favored in the away game to boost their 16-game win streak over their AFC West foe.
Week 8 concludes on Monday night with the Detroit Lions (5-2) licking their wounds from a smacking at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens (5-2) last week. They are favored to win as they host the Las Vegas Raiders (3-4) who are hoping to rebound from their own loss to the Chicago Bears (2-5).
