Nothing can break a sister’s bond.
Indeed, Hannah Gosselin and Leah Gosselin proved as much earlier this week when the sextuplet sisters—who are among Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin’s sextuplets along with brothers Collin Gosselin, Aaden Gosselin, and Joel Gosselin and sister Alexis Gosselin—reunited for a day together.
“Update vlog,” Hannah, 20, explained in a recent Snapchat vlog alongside Leah, also 20. “I have arrived and we are eating—”
To which Leah chimes in, “Cava!”
And Hannah concludes, “You don’t understand how much I’ve been wanting Cava.”
Later, Hannah details the sisters’ trip to the fast casual restaurant, with Leah adding in a clip after they ate, “We destroyed those bowls.”
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars—who are also younger sisters to 24-year-old twin sisters Madelyn Gosselin and Cara Gosselin—also shared a glimpse of the day spent together at the mall including exploring stores like Bath & Body Works, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret. Afterward, they topped off the excursion with a trip to get ice cream.
Hannah’s update with her sister comes a little over a year after her brother Collin spoke out about the alleged abuse he faced at his mom’s house, which led to him and Hannah moving in with their father in 2018, when they were both 14. (In 2016, Kate placed Collin in Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute, where he stayed for two years while his father “didn’t know for sure” where he was, he told Entertainment Tonight).
For Collin, the experience led to his estrangement from most of his siblings.
“I think my mom kind of drove a social barrier between us,” Collin explained in a 2023 Vice documentary. “She told them the story one way, and, obviously, I see the story a different way.”
But Hannah stood by Collin, sharing her own perspective on Kate’s behavior toward her brother.
“He would not get to come and play outside with us,” Hannah recalled in the documentary. “He would eat dinner at different times than us."
Kate, meanwhile, has pushed back on the allegations made by her Collin and Hannah, including in the documentary.
“My son Collin, whom I love with all my heart, has received multiple psychiatric diagnoses over the years,” she wrote in an Instagram post in 2023. “For the safety of myself, his brothers and sisters and for his own well-being, he was placed in a facility following years of outpatient treatment which proved insufficient for his needs.”
Amid the family’s estrangement, Collin continues to hope for reconciliation between he and his siblings.
“I love my siblings very, very much,” Collin told Entertainment Tonight in August. “I would never hurt them. I would never trash their names in the media. But what I do believe is that my mother’s behind things they say in the media. She’s behind their opinion of me. I think if we knew each other today, we’d be very good friends.”
